…Knitting…
I finished knitting Bracken’s hat in time for his birthday! Yay! I love it. I’m curious to see how it fits him, but I’m wrapping it and putting it away until his birthday, so I’ll find out soon enough. (I’ll of course share pictures of him wearing it.) I finished the shaping of the crown at market on Saturday, then started the i-cord border. I made a blooper, but caught myself before I had gotten far. With each new pattern I knit, I learn so much.
Notes:
Posted on Ravelry here.
The Clyde Bonnet pattern, by Liz of The Sitting Tree, is available in her shop here or on Ravelry here.
The yarn is from our friends at Timberwolf Farm. The brown is the natural color of the wool and the blue was naturally dyed with woad.
Oh yes, and speaking of our friends at Timberwolf Farm, I’ve been meaning to tell you that Inge posted her headband pattern here in her shop, so it’s now available for sale online. I had so much fun knitting that pattern for a friend and I know some of you had expressed interest in the pattern as well. She also has some other beautiful headband patterns available.
(I hardly read at all last week, so nothing much to mention there.)
