Happy Thanksgiving!
Simple meals and simple celebrating for us today. Thanksgiving is always a busy day for us- sandwiched between the day we set up our booth structure at the Holiday Market and the first day we start selling there. So traditionally, Thanksgiving is a day we are scrambling to get last minute things together. That’s just the reality for us right now. I do love a holiday that celebrates thankfulness. It’s something so good for all of us to be reminded of. It will be near and dear to my heart when I write my gratitudes before bed tonight. Would you like to write down some things you’re feeling grateful for and join us for Gratitude Sunday this weekend? The more the merrier, as they say.
The next three days are going to be full for us. We will be at the Holiday Market: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 to 6. We’d love for you to say hello. You can find us in booth 216, on Gnome Alley, the same spot as previous years. (If you are facing the music stage, we are to the right along the wall. There is a booth with bags and hair wraps on the corner, we are right next to it.) We will also be there every weekend, and right up to Christmas Eve. The dates, location, and more information are on the Holiday Market website. This will be our first Holiday Market where we are able to accept credit cards in our booth and we are pretty excited about that. If you happen to be looking for handmade gifts for your holidays, some things you’ll find in our booth are:
wooden bookmarks for the book lovers in your life
woodburned ornaments: special and natural
artisan buttons for knitters, sewers, and crafters
earthy earrings and necklaces for the nature lovers
wooden hair sticks: beautiful and functional
branch wood boxes for holding little treasures
woodburned magnets to make all the people on your list smile
We have many gifts and stocking stuffers under twenty dollars. We will have a variety of herbal salves and most of our herbal products as well. We have two new products we are excited about that will be there: solid perfumes made with blends of pure essential oils! (I’ll be getting things posted online as soon as I’m able to. Speaking of online: come back here on Monday for a one-day-only sale in both of our online shops. It’s our biggest sale of the year!) I made a few wool ornaments and finished a few other wooly things. Of course there is so much more we wanted to finish, but our booth will be more full than it’s ever been before. Holiday Market will be our home away from home for the next few days and through December.
Holiday Market, here we come!
