…The purple sage flowers that the bees love so much.

…Fresh cilantro and chives on our scrambled eggs. It’s amazing how simply some fresh herbs can completely transform a meal.
.
…Bracken falling asleep while laying on me as I rubbed his back. I didn’t want to move, just lay there and savor it.
.
…Sitting next to Jeff, reading books and enjoying some particularly delicious soup that he made, when Bracken went to bed early.
.
…Fresh spring strawberries for dessert.
.
…The sound that the ducks make. And the way they wiggle like they are happy dogs wagging their tails.
.
…Therapeutic journaling.
.
…Putting up a trellis for the thornless blackberry that we planted.
.
…The ducks gobbling up slugs (and with each and every one they eat knowing it’s one less slug eating our garden.)
.
…Garden time and making progress, even if it’s just bit by bit.
.
…The delicious sun teas Jeff made on a few sunny days.
.
…Having straw again to make the coop nice (and fill back up the nesting boxes.) And then getting all the straw vacuumed out of our car before loading it back up for market. (Straw bits all over our market stuff is not really a big deal, but can be annoying.)
.
…Jeff being able to tear down the section in the coop for the smaller chicks since they are all living together now and don’t need to be separated anymore. The coop has much more room now.
.
…Progress on some projects, cleaning, and organizing. A shelf up. An area transformed.
.
…Sauerkraut fermenting in the kitchen.
.
…Jeff getting a large blue pot all ready for Bracken Appleseed to plant his seeds in.
.
…The kind librarian who helped me find the books I wanted when the computer system there was having problems. What took her a few minutes to find saved me a whole lot of searching.
.
…All the family that came to visit us at the market yesterday.
