Well, I’m finally writing to you from our trip (on the night before we leave, we head back home early tomorrow morning.) I wasn’t able to get my computer connected to the internet at my grandma’s house and even if I had been able to we’ve been so busy all day each day, there hardly would have been time anyway. I didn’t intend to be away from this space for the duration of our trip, but was fully engaged in all we were doing, loving it, and went with it.  I’m amazed at how much we’ve been able to do and see in a matter of days. It’s a visit we’ll always remember. I realized it had been five years since I had been back to Iowa. I’m glad we came. I’ll be posting Gratitude Sunday tonight since tomorrow morning we’ll be heading for the airport so early. I’ll be back with more pictures soon.
