We’re constantly changing our display, as you’ve heard about and seen about in this space over the years. Recently Jeff built something for our booth that we absolutely love. I finally took some pictures of it at market last weekend. He bought all the parts for it at Habitat for Humanity and created it for less than twenty bucks. He was pretty darn pleased about that. It never ceases to amaze me how creative he is. He explained his idea to me, which I only partially understood, but I liked the sounds of it. I watched as he repurposed different things (some louvered doors, for one) and turned them into a beautiful earring rack. Earrings have been his main focus in our booth this year because we sell more earrings than anything else in our market booth. He needed more space to display them and he also wanted something that he could transport with the earrings on it. It’s quite time consuming to hang large amounts of earring cards each week and he knew it would save us a lot of time if they were already hanging. The earring rack has four sides and cleverly comes apart for packing in our car. The most exciting part though? It spins! (Bracken will be the first one to tell you that if you come into our booth and reach for the earring rack.) We placed the new display on a wooden table on the right side of the booth, as you can see in the picture above. Before we had our wooden magnets there, so we needed to figure out a new place to put the magnets. We ended up putting our magnets horizontally across the top of our booth and we like it so much better there. People really love when what we have is easily visible right at the front of the booth. (Our car is rather packed on market days, so we have some more solutions to find regarding that.) And speaking of market, we’ll be there tomorrow. If you happen to be by, come give our new earring rack a spin. It likes that (and so does Bracken!)
