I planned to show you Bracken’s finished birthday sweater today, but only had a few pictures (most of which turned out blurry.) I intended to take more today, but it’s been absolutely pouring outside all day and not conducive to that. So instead I’ll show you what I’m making with the nearly entire skein I had left after making his sweater. I fell in love with the Aston hat and thought it would be perfect to make him a matching hat with his sweater.

I’ve been reading ‘The World Of Pooh’ with Bracken. We read a chapter most nights before bed. It amazes me sometimes that it keeps his interest because there aren’t very many pictures. We usually read picture books together. I consider this book Jeff and Bracken’s “thing.” They usually read it and share it together, but Jeff gets up so early these days and works all day and is way too tired for reading at the end of the day. So Bracken has been asking me to read it to him before bed and I happily oblige.
