(If you would like to join us, see below. Our gratefulness feeds one another.)
…Going out in the morning with Bracken to admire the frost right before the sun melted it away. (He looked out the window that morning and exclaimed “Love you Jack Frost!”)
…Bracken telling me that he needed wings so he could fly to see his grandma. Melt my heart.
…The zen of my sewing time. And the sound of the sewing machine humming along. Satisfying.
…How delicious our greens were after a frost.
…A wonderful dream where Jeff was waking me up in the morning by singing and playing his guitar. Then our family was playing and gathering shells on a warm beach. (Which was extra nice since it was so cold out when I woke up that morning.)
…Rain coming and warming things up a bit outside. (We were going through our firewood way too quickly.)
…Some changes to our booth display that we were glad about. (And then moving it out of the middle of our living room which we were really glad about.)
…A happy, muddy boy making mud pies out in the yard. Mud play has been very popular lately.
…Jeff and I both adding some ingredients and making an incredibly delicious chicken soup. Just what we were craving.
…Hemming a pair of my pants that were too long. I kept rolling them up and they would come undone. Taking the time to do a simple hem job will give me more peace of mind every time I wear them now. Little things.
…Two friends offering to carry some of our booth things inside when we went to set up our booth on Friday. It helped us immensely! We really appreciated it.
…Enjoying the farmer’s market again. Bracken used some of his market money he’d been saving to buy grapes and apples. I found cauliflower mushrooms (a favorite) and some gold rush apples (the best keeper we’ve found so far.)
…Our first day back at the Holiday Market yesterday, getting all settled into our booth and the swing of things again. (And some good fiddlin’ music at the end of the day that Bracken did a lot of dancing to.)
