(Shown above: wooden ornaments & chicken earrings in our booth, 216. And yes, occasionally when Jeff gets a mismatched earring, he turns it into an ornament, so we’ve got a handful of some pretty fancy ornaments. Nightlights by Innerlight Lamps, in booth 201, our holiday market neighbor directly across from us. Pottery from another booth neighbor, Pat in booth 203. And wooden boxes by Earnest Efforts in booth 14. You can find a map at the bottom of this page.)

I’ve shown you plenty of Eugene Saturday Market pictures over the years, but not very many of the Holiday Market. And the simple reason for that is I’ve always had a much easier time getting pictures to turn out the way I like them to in natural light. That’s also one reason why you see more pictures from our yard and garden than from inside our house. This year, with a new-to-me camera, I decided to try it a little more. I still have a lot to learn about indoor photography, since the majority of my pictures inside the Holiday Market still turn out blurry, but I did get a few that turned out so I posted them above for you to see.
Yesterday my dad and stepmom drove up from southern Oregon and visited us at the Holiday Market. We walked over to the farmer’s market, located in just the next room (I feel so lucky to have such an amazing farmer’s market even in the winter time!), and walked all around the whole place. (There’s a lot to see there!) I appreciated them driving up to join us for the day.
Our Holiday Market season is winding up. If you haven’t been there yet (or want to visit again before it’s over), we still have five days left. You can find our booth at the Holiday Market on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. December 20th – 24th. (Yep, five days in a row! Phew.) It’s open from 10-6 every day, except for Christmas Eve, when it closes at 4. The plan is for Jeff to be there the whole time, but Bracken and I might skip one or two. There’s so much to enjoy at the Holiday Market and we’ve got a few more days left to enjoy it to the fullest this year! (And as you can imagine, we’ll be pretty exhausted when it’s over.)
