Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…Pictures to remember all the beautiful leaves by, now that most of them have fallen.
.
…Being able to switch hotel rooms when the heater wasn’t working. (I think it was 23 degrees in Wyoming that night and we were freezing in there.)
.
…Seeing the sunrise out the window on the airplane. So beautiful.
.
…Bracken sleeping for an entire plane ride on our way back home when he needed the extra rest that day.
.
…Having epsom salts in the house again. We never like to run out of those.
.
…The three of us calling my dad and singing him Happy Birthday on the phone. Silly style, as usual.
.
…The taste of our homemade sauerkraut again. I miss it whenever we travel!
.
…Jeff saving our zucchini seeds. (I couldn’t believe how long that zucchini lasted for on our kitchen counter.)
.
…Comforts of home.
.
…Setting our Christmas tree up.
.
…Making elderberry ginger tea. A favorite of ours these days.
.
…That I only got a minor burn on the woodstove and that it wasn’t as bad as it could have been.
.
…Libraries. I so appreciate that I can bring home fresh books on such a regular basis! Bracken is ravenous for more reading material and we really enjoy our reading time together.
.
…Jeff fixing the outlet on the wall that wasn’t working anymore.
.
…Seeing a WoolyMossRoots button on this adorable sweater.
.
…Getting the house more in order. It’s a constant process, but every little bit is satisfying.
.
…A market friend giving Bracken a handmade dish with an imprint of a bracken fern on it. He gets very excited about bracken ferns, pointing to them and then to himself, saying “me!”
.
…Good weather yesterday and a fun, full day with market and another adventure. (More on that tomorrow.)

Twisted Cinderella says
Wonderful list, I love the fall leaves. I am glad you were able to switch to a room with a working heater. There is nothing as good as the comforts of home. And the setting up of the Christmas tree is something we are grateful for this week too. It was fun. I have never tried elderberry ginger tea, it sounds lovely. And we LOVE Libraries.
My list is up too: http://tc-twistedfairytale.blogspot.ca/2014/12/gratitude-sunday.html
