…Knitting…
I finished the scarf I was knitting for my sister’s birthday. I snapped a few pictures of it right before we left, but you can’t see it very well in them. I’m working on two really simple knitting patterns, this scarf and a cowl. I’m looking for some test knitters for right after the holidays. Send me an e-mail (tarynkae21{at}yahoo{dot}com) if you are interested in being a test knitter. (I’ve hardly read anything lately, so I’m skipping that this week.)
P.S. And speaking of knitting patterns, I’ve been meaning to share with you the new hat pattern our friend Inge created, featuring a WoolyMossRoots Button. It’s called the Turn-Up Brim Hat and you can find it on Ravelry and on Etsy. On the first Holiday Market weekend I got some pictures of it. Thanks to our market friend Inge for featuring our button in her beautiful knitting pattern and thanks to our market friend Heather for modeling the hat for me!
Also, I got some pictures of one of Inge’s previous knitting patterns, the Multiple Plait Cable Headband. I’ve written about it here before, it’s how I first learned how to cable. She had one in her market booth with one of our buttons on the back in western red cedar. It was so pretty I had to get some pictures. I love Inge’s patterns and you can see them all here.
