In the fall I took some updated pictures of Bracken wearing the Clyde Bonnet that I had knitted for him for his third birthday, and then I never got around to posting them. He is quite good at his pouty face and I’m glad I got it captured on camera. These pictures have nothing to do with what I was going to write about today. I’m packing our suitcase because Bracken and I are leaving in a few days to go visit my mom in Florida. Starting last year, it’s become a February tradition. I’m really looking forward to it. Spending time with family is what I’m looking forward to most of all. But some warm sunshine sounds pretty heavenly to me right now too! We won’t be packing any woolens. Not a bit. And I’m quite happy about that. I’ll be bringing some knitting along though, because who ever heard of traveling anywhere without a knitting project?
How nice to have a real garden gnome! Adorable.
Wonderful pictures! Have a fantastic trip!
So precious! Have a safe trip! Can’t wait to see all your wonderful pictures you take.
Darling pics, Taryn! I agree with you about visiting your family away from home is good for everyone. The little ones need to keep their families that live far away in their minds. That is how I was raised. I hope you and Bracken have lots of fun on your upcoming trip to Florida.
