…Knitting…
I took this picture in the car yesterday. It’s time for me to start getting my knitting projects organized for an upcoming trip. (More on that soon.) I’m going to be knitting cowls in all different colors. As you can see with the green one from last week, I haven’t made any progress since then. I’ve been hardly knitting at all and need to remedy that.
…Reading…
Jeff had the wonderful idea to pick up some audiobooks at the library. We’ve listened to Sparkle Stories a handful of times at home and Bracken loved them. Jeff thought he might enjoy listening to some stories during car rides. When I went in the children’s section looking for audiobooks, I came across ‘Anne of Green Gables’. I’ve always wanted to read it, so brought it home. While it doesn’t necessarily hold Bracken’s attention (during yesterday’s drive he just looked at a book in his lap while we listened), Jeff and I absolutely love it. What a wonderful story and of course we love Anne, what a delightful character she is!
How about you? Knitting? Reading?

Taryn,
We are reading Anne as well, we are currently on book 5 of the series. It just keeps getting better!

My best friend and I in elementary school would act out scenes form Ann of Green Gables over and over and over and over again, Then we’d peg every cute boy as Gilbert ;). Glad you are enjoying the story! Your cowl sounds fun- that’s the way I like to make them colorful and using up stashes; )

I LOVE Anne of Green Gables. I have read it many many times. And I have just recently discovered 2 other books in the series that I didn’t know existed. They just arrived yesterday, so I am thrilled.

Anne of Green Gables is one of my favorite books. My oldest daughter has the middle name Anne with an e because of her books. Enjoy, I love those books. I was able to go visit her homes this summer, it was a joy.
