Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…Blueberry buds. I don’t know why seeing them makes me so happy, but it does.
.
…Suitcases unpacked and put away until our next adventure.
.
…Time spent in the kitchen and many meals made.
.
…Little rainboots splashing in big, muddy puddles.
.
…Salads for lunch. Our favorite lunchs always include a salad.
.
…Listening to ‘Anne of Green Gables’ on CD while we were cozied up on the couch one night.
.
…Finding organic button mushrooms for a great deal at the grocery store. And then finding some fish on sale when I was really hoping I would.
.
…Jeff fixing some things on my computer to make it run more smoothly. Bless him. (When things go wrong with my computer it really frustrates me, since I need to be so efficient with the computer time I have.)
.
…Bracken acting like he was going to get off the phone with grandma and hand it to me, but instead pretending to be “mama” on the phone and doing a hilarious job of it.
.
…Finding little treasures on our nature walks.
.
…Family cuddles before getting out of bed, on the rare morning Jeff actually slept in.
.
…Donating some books to the library, for the next person to enjoy.
.
…The sound of Bracken laughing in his sleep.
.
…The discovery of putting some spaghetti squash in the french onion soup Jeff made. Yum.
.
…Jeff tearing out the broken step and building a new one that was even better.

Oh, can’t wait for our blueberry bushes to bud! Have a great week!
It looks like you all will be enjoying fresh Blueberries this summer. I know that pleases a little boy.
Hope you all had a nice Valentine Day
I love you………….Aunt Isla
Oh the sound of Bracken laughing in his sleep must have been so sweet!!
My post is up for today: http://tc-twistedfairytale.blogspot.ca/2015/02/gratitude-sunday_15.html
Such a wonderful list of things to be thankful for. We can all do well to count our blessings.
Oh my gosh, your buds! Our trees are growing buds a little, but it’s blizzardy here today, and we have so. much. snow.
