{Sunday’s heartfelt tradition. A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.}
(If you would like to join us, see below. Our gratefulness feeds one another.)

Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…The lush green ferns that grow all over the place around here. I love the way the edges of the leaves curl.
.
…Bracken’s imagination, turning a flower into an “angel doll” and playing with it for hours.
.
…Bringing bowls of frozen blueberries outside to surprise Jeff and Bracken on a hot day.
.
…Days where we had the windows open and a fresh breeze blowing through.
.
…The hawk that flew over the garden that we got to see so close.
.
…Delicious salad with baby greens from the farmer’s market. So good. And spinach, which we’ve been loving a lot lately.
.
…Spotting red winged blackbirds on our drive. I think they are so pretty.
.
…Bracken trying out a friend’s bike and riding with training wheels for the first time. (He usually rides a balance bike, but he got the hang of it pretty fast.)
.
…Walks at the park in the sunshine.
.
…Finding the missing parking ticket that fell down between the seats in the car. (I paid for parking that day, but I guess I was supposed to put my paid ticket on the dash of the car. Lesson learned.)
.
…Jeff starting a little fire on a rainy morning to make the house cozy.
.
…How excited Bracken got every time I let him answer the phone (after checking the caller ID to make sure it wasn’t a telemarketer. Though he probably would have thought that was great fun too.)
.
…Seeing goats frolicking through the pasture, one after another. They looked so carefree, full of glee, and silly. Such a happy sight.
.
…Exhale after a lot of activity.
.
…Friends visiting us at market yesterday and Bracken getting to walk around farmer’s market with his buddy.
.
…Asparagus from farmer’s market. Something we look forward every spring. Mmm mmm mmm.
.
…The thoughtful things that people do. Even the smallest gesture can mean so much.
