{Sunday’s heartfelt tradition. A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.}

Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…The first calendula blooming in the garden. (I can never get enough of them and always want them spread throughout the entire garden. A few, or more, in each bed would be perfect.)
.
…Home improvement projects, no matter how small.
.
…The fact that the first thing Bracken wants to do every time he gets out of the car is to grab his harvest basket and head to the garden.
.
…Hearing the frogs singing in the pond again after we hadn’t heard them for awhile.
.
…The batch of salmon soup that Jeff made that turned out really good.
.
…Jeff and Bracken going on a little adventure just the two of them while I got so much accomplished in the kitchen. Bracken came home beaming and having so much to tell me.
.
…Hearing Bracken singing to himself. Such a wonderful, wonderful sound.
.
…Locating my missing book.
.
…All the watering Jeff has been doing in the garden lately.
.
…Finding a new route to get someplace that was easier, more convenient, and saved lots of time.
.
…A good workout with a group of women at self-defense yesterday. When you get tired, you have people cheering you on and keeping you going, it’s pretty awesome.
.
…Making it through the very hot day at market!
