That’s the back of our car (I know, pretty exciting picture), starting to get packed up for market tomorrow. We got our car unpacked from last weekend, things somewhat organized (still have much more organizing to do), and then started getting things packed up again. (But it got really hot outside, we were sweating buckets, and decided to finish loading up our car once it cools down a bit.) Phew. It’s hot here. Is it hot where you are?

I realized the other day that we’ve done four festivals/fairs in the past two months. In May we had a booth at the May Fair and at the Wildflower & Music Festival. In June we had a booth at the Mother Earth News Fair and then at the Black Sheep Gathering, this past weekend. One of our goals was to do more festivals this year and we have really enjoyed all the ones we’ve been to so far. It’s also been quite busy, as you can imagine. Our next scheduled festival is in September (the Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival– woohoo!), so we have a few months to be back regularly at the Eugene Saturday Market once again.

Speaking of which, we will be at the Eugene Saturday Market tomorrow. The forecast predicts just under one hundred degrees. Yikes. Wish us luck, will you? Right now we’re wondering what we can leave at home and what is absolutely necessary to bring, so we can have room for a big cooler full of ice, not the small size we normally bring. The small size cooler is just not going to cut it this weekend!
