…Knitting…
A sweet blog reader wrote to me on Ravelry and said she was doing some spring cleaning and had so many knitting needles and yarn to give away. Would I be interested in any? She sent me some gorgeous yarn and when I came upon these three skeins in particular, I fell in love. (Thank you Terry!) Organic wool yarn naturally dyed felt like such a treat to work with, but that color is what really made me exclaim over it. The colorway is called Rust. I knew right away that I’d be knitting something for myself with it because the color speaks to me so much. I’m knitting the sweater Daffodil by Orianna Eklund. Is it funny that I’ve already chosen what wood (red cedar) I’ll ask Jeff to make me buttons out of?
…Reading…
I’m reading my Taproot magazine I picked up at the Mother Earth News Fair over the weekend. Issue 13: Song. That gorgeous artwork on the front just fills me up with childlike joy. Doesn’t it just make you want to grab and instrument and start playing? I’m enjoying this issue so much. It makes me breathe deeper, relax more, and it makes me smile again and again.
How about you? Knitting? Reading?

Gorgeous yarn, I love it when other people feel the need to turn out!! I am hoping to have a big turn out myself this week so I shall be gifting some of my bits I no longer use. I think it is lovely the way crafty people find to someone to give the bits they no longer need to. x
