Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…Those beautiful nasturtium flowers, growing like crazy in the garden, that Bracken enjoys gathering so much.
.
…The meals Jeff makes. Last week he made some battered wild cod that was just unreal. He’s gifted in the kitchen and I really appreciate eating what he cooks!
.
…Knowing that taking the time to make nourishing meals is such a gift to my family.
.
…Jeff being able to get our water working again when it had stopped working. We were sweating it. This time of year we can’t go long without water, the garden would dry up too fast.
.
…Garden projects. When I look around, we’ve made an incredible amount of progress out there this year.
.
…The way listening to music gives a boost to cleaning motivation. (It made mopping the floors so much more fun!)
.
…Our friend’s delicious grain-free banana bread and her sharing the recipe with me.
.
…Secondhand treasures for our garden on the side of the road for a total of $4.50. Awesome.
.
…A magical dream that made me want to keep sleeping.
.
…Going out to the garden to see that Jeff had finished up our trellis that morning, when we hadn’t been able to finish it the night before. He’s always full of surprises.
.
…My dad and stepmom bringing us lava rock for our firepit, just what we needed to get the area ready.
.
…How much faster, easier, (and more fun) projects are with help.
.
…Connecting with community.

Would you be able to share the grain free banana bread recipe? I would love to try it. Is it possible that I got some wooly moss roots buttons as far back as thirty years ago?

She just sent me a picture of the recipe and I can’t post a picture here in the comments. When I make it I can write it out and share it with you. 🙂
Those wouldn’t be WoolyMossRoots buttons because Jeff wasn’t making them yet. 🙂

The flowers are beautiful! I love the kinds of dreams you don’t want to wake up from. I also listen to music when doing the housework. It’s makes it so much more fun 🙂
