Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…Watching a bee visit one marigold after another in the garden. I like watching bees.
.
…Having an easy knitting project laying around so I can grab it anytime I need no-thinking-required knitting.
.
…Bracken asking for more and more summer squash from the garden. Digging how much that boy loves his vegetables!
.
…Experimenting and trying new things in the kitchen.
.
…Jeff getting to the post office right before they closed for lunch so he could get a package mailed out.
.
…My mom turning around things that annoy me into things that are hilarious and crack me up. It’s a gift she has.
.
…Just enough time to run a few errands before we needed to be somewhere.
.
…Jeff having a gourmet dinner ready and waiting for Bracken and I when we got home from a long day.
.
…Trading with our neighbor- our eggs for her homegrown veggies, different ones than we were growing in our garden. We so appreciate her amazing produce.
.
…A fridge full of garden food.
.
…Getting to help at the Warrior Sisters booth yesterday. They had a booth at market for the first time and it was great to help get the word out. I especially loved seeing a boy who grabbed flyers for his sister. What an awesome brother!
.
…Going straight to bed when we got home last night and sleeping like a rock. Nothing like a good night of sleep!
