Our apples are early this year. About a month, maybe? They could ripen just a tad longer, but if we leave them the bears will get them, as we’ve learned the hard way in years past. Bracken and I have harvested most of them now. Our plum tree has produced only a few plums this year, our peach tree looks like there will only be a few of those as well, along with our apple tree out back. Not a great fruit year for any of our fruit trees, except for the apple out front. (We don’t know what variety it is.) It’s completely loaded with crisp, flavorful little apples and we’re so grateful for that!
P.S. Market tomorrow!
P.P.S. Great giveaway here tomorrow too!

Yum! We have an apple tree in our back yard with more apples than I can count of an unknown variety as well. It still has a few weeks left to get where we can pick. I love apple season!
Enjoy them all.
