{Sunday’s heartfelt tradition. A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.}

Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…Bracken being delighted when he saw a flower on our trip that he recognized, and then my grandma telling us that columbines are the state flower of Colorado.
.
…The fact that Bracken was alright after he got stung by a wasp for the first time. I was relieved that he didn’t have a bad reaction.
.
…Putting two more batches of pesto in the freezer for the year.
.
…The relief I feel when I listen to my gut feeling about decisions I need to make.
.
…Bracken bagging up the green beans and cucumbers from the garden and putting them in the fridge, while I washed the dishes. That was so helpful.
.
…How much faster it is to run errands when both Jeff and I go to town.
.
…A little knitting, which always works wonders to make me feel more peaceful.
.
…Apologies. I really respect people who have the courage to apologize.
.
…Finding out the car seat was free to check on the plane, when I had been expecting to have to pay for it. That was a great surprise.
.
…Family and friends.
.
…The opportunity to see my sister’s world in Colorado.
.
…Getting to our flight on time yesterday, despite the traffic.
.
…The kind lady who switched seats with me on the plane so Bracken and I could sit together.
.
…Sleeping in our own beds last night, which felt especially wonderful after getting home late and being so tired. And then getting our suitcases unpacked this morning and settling back into home.
(I know this is a day late, but if you did a Gratitude Sunday post yesterday, feel free to add your link below.)
