This is my silly birthday boy holding up his in-the-works vest right before we went out to eat for a birthday meal. Clearly, it will be a belated birthday vest. Though I already knitted the back side of the vest, I’m going to be re-doing it for various reasons, so alas I did not finish it in time for his birthday. I’ve had some hiccups and setbacks with the pattern, so it has been taking me longer than I expected. It was fun to get a little peek of what it will look like on him when he held it up for my YarnAlong picture today. Late night blogging is all that I seem to have time for this week. We dropped Grandma off at the airport this evening and miss her already!
