The first year that Bracken dressed up for Halloween, he was a bear. Last year he wanted to be a siamese cat belly dancer and that took a little more creativity. This year he wanted to be a deer (and then kept changing his mind), but came back to a deer. I didn’t do anything to make his costume this year, it was all Jeff and Bracken. It was a fun project for them to do together, making the deer headband. Bracken was so proud to show everybody that they were real antlers!
Every single year Jeff has been a wizard. A cloak, a staff, and he is an instant wizard. Easy. This year he decided to change things up and was a fisherman. And what was I? I don’t really know exactly. I made a headband with ears for myself before we walked out the door, with the thought that I would be a bear. I drew a nose and whiskers and then suddenly was unsure whether bears have whiskers or not. (?) I looked more like a puppy, so I went with that, until a child called me a cat and I said sure, I’m a cat.
Bracken’s already planning his costume for next year…

Love Bracken’s deer headband! Jeff looks great as a fisherman! Looks like everyone had a wonderful time!
