Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…Raindrops on calendula flowers. What could be a prettier garden sight on a rainy day?
.
…Rain boots. They’re comfy, cozy, and all I want to wear lately.
.
…Being able to pull out some of our wooly layers again. I always love doing that.
.
…My camera working again after it was having some issues.
.
…Home time. With all the running around lately, each day at home was savored and appreciated.
.
…Jeff oiling the squeaking door. Then I was able to open that door in the mornings without waking up Bracken every time.
.
…The wonderful questions kids ask. This week Bracken asked why silkie chickens have that name if they don’t make silk? Good question. He declared they should be renamed.
.
…Tying buttons on cards during our movie night.
.
…Having people to talk to. People who understand just what I mean.
.
…Watching Bracken and his friend have such a blast playing in the rain, completely soaked with huge grins on their faces.
.
…Seeing the earth so green around here again!
.
…The goosebumps you get when something especially inspires you and you’re on the right track.
