Yep, we got to spend a day in “Yarn Heaven”, as I like to call it. We are always given such a warm welcome when we go to Stash and all of the Stash ladies are simply lovely and wonderful. Bracken has been saving up his money and decided to buy a mini-skein of yarn, which he’s got big plans for. He heard me say that Stash is my favorite yarn shop and he declared that Stash is also his very favorite yarn shop too. I found a skein of yarn which was so soft that I wasn’t able to bring myself to set it down on the counter to purchase it later, but instead walked around rubbing it against my cheek. (A dear friend surprised us and showed up later in the day from her way back from a conference. What a love she is!)
Sonia, the owner, taught me a few tricks on Instagram. I was adding tags under location sometimes, but she showed me about tagging under people. Good to know! (It’s okay, you can laugh. I’m really clueless about these things.) Also, I wasn’t able to figure out where to see the pictures people were tagging us in. She taught me that as well and I was delighted to see projects there! Since we don’t get reception at home, I only post on Instagram when we go to town. Next time we’re in town, I’m looking forward to catching up looking at the projects there. This is such a great shop. Last time I was there I found some great buys in the clearance closet. Wish I could have seen your display in person, will they carry some of your buttons? Also, I did giggle just a little about the IG. I don’t have a ‘fancy phone’ as I don’t have any signal at home either. I don’t pin, facebook, tweet, chat or blog. Kind of boring. I just read great blogs and leave random comments 🙂
I love their clearance closet too! I always find good treasures there. Stash does carry our buttons, you can find a selection of them up by the counter. And I don’t think not doing those things sounds boring at all! Sounds like you’re doing exactly what you enjoy online. 🙂
