{Sunday’s heartfelt tradition. A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.}

Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…Seeing how much the passionflower has grown that we planted near Bracken’s slide. I love the curling tendrils.
.
…Getting a new headset for our phone (since our previous one was broken again) so I can answer the phone and talk while keeping my hands free to get things done.
.
…Buying myself a new pair of socks. With stripes. I love them. (Made all the more enjoyable because practically every pair of socks I own have holes in them.)
.
…The ginger, elderberry, peppermint tea that Jeff had ready and waiting for me when I came downstairs one morning after not feeling well.
.
…Peppermint essential oil. I don’t even use it, I just hold the bottle under my nose and enjoy the smell from time to time. I never tire of that scent.
.
…My kitchen assistant that helped me make muffins.
.
…Sewing buttons on Jeff’s new favorite shirt that our friend designed especially for him. What a gift to have something made for you that fits you just right!
.
…Boxes of organic tangerines that we only find at the grocery store this time of year, and that are so delicious!
.
…Getting a “holiday tour” of the trees and decorations at grandma’s house when we had a skype date. Bracken’s request: “Show me again!”
