Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…Finding these bright, colorful pictures of a calendula in the garden, on a dark and rainy day. They are not current, our last calendula is gone now, but they’re sure a sight for sore eyes right now!
.
…All the friends we got to see and the time we got to spend with them while we were at the market.
.
…Holiday cards in the mail. They make me so happy to see and I love when they come each year.
.
…Clothes that are so comfortable I want to wear them every day, and have to force myself to change. I want everything I wear to feel like that.
.
…Bringing a whole box of things out of my craft space to an artist that could put them to use. Felt so good to clear my space and bring them something useful at the same time.
.
…Jeff going and getting the car one night after market and picking Bracken and I up at the door so we didn’t have to walk so far in the rain and cold. What a guy.
.
…The rare treat of going out to eat, enjoying a meal we didn’t cook or prepare ourselves, and trying something new and delicious.
.
…Jeff and Bracken having a special day just the two of them while I ran our market booth solo. When I walked in the door Bracken was beaming and couldn’t wait to tell me all about their day. (It was quite adventurous.)
.
…People you always know you can count on.
.
…How much Bracken looked forward to the annual belly dance performance on the last day of market. And how surprised he was when the dancer came up to him during her performance and wrapped the silk around his neck!
.
…Our friend bringing the extra market things we couldn’t fit into our car on the last day to her house for us to pick up later, so we didn’t have to make another trip to come back and retrieve them. Bless her!
.
…Bracken’s excitement on Christmas morning and how children make the holidays feel so magical.

Thank you for this beautiful list of gratitude. I watched Bracken for a little while during the end of the belly dancing. He is one amazing little being 🙂 Happy New Year to you three plus farm friends. We love you all very much and are grateful to have you in our lives!

I love being able to catch up on your life in the wee hours of the morning when this sweet nugget in my belly makes it challenging to sleep. I realize it’s one sided however and that’s not too fair, but I do appreciate your blog so much!! Hoping to talk to you in real time tomorrow and to see you in the flesh soon to celebrate baby Sophia. Love you!
