Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…The fact that we can just head to another part of the state to find some snow.
.
…Jeff cleaning out the chicken coop on a nice day while Bracken played outside with the chickens and I cleaned the house (while I was on a roll.)
.
…Jeff and I’s joint effort to get our whole house (and shop) organized. Corner by corner, room by room, we’re making progress and it feels great.
.
…Retiring my 2015 planner and being officially switched over to my 2016 one. It’s an important yearly ritual, transferring the important dates and birthdays from one planner to another, and it makes me happy.
.
…The spaghetti squash that we grew in the garden storing so well. We’re still eating and enjoying it.
.
…Time with friends that brought us a glow for the rest of the day.
.
…Breaking up the routine. Seeing new sights. Being flexible. Going with the flow. Trying new things. Experimenting.
.
….Celebrating just because.
.
…New episodes of Parks and Recreation on Netflix. That show makes me laugh and laugh.
.
…Watching Bracken and his grandpa playing and having fun in the snow together. And all the quality time we got to spend together during our trip.
.
…The amazing weather we got for our ski adventure day!
.
…Getting to see around Bend for the first time, since I’d only driven through many years ago, but hadn’t gotten to explore the place.
.
…The surprise Jeff had for me when we got home. He re-did my shipping area because I didn’t have enough room for mailing out packages. He added so much space, more lighting, and set it up in such a better way. Bless his heart, it was such a sweet surprise!
