Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…All the flowers blooming in Florida, including the beautiful hibiscus in my mom’s yard. Coming from grey skies to all that color and warmth felt like entering a tropical world.
.
…Bracken cracking me up when he put on his tap shoes and danced on top of the bubble wrap to pop it. It was the most creative bubble wrap popping method I had ever seen.
.
…Getting my new (to me) and camera and camera lens in the mail before we left on our trip, so I was able to bring it along to take pictures during our travels.
.
…Reading inspiring articles. Meeting inspiring people. And the feeling of being freshly inspired.
.
…Drawing and coloring with Bracken during plane rides.
.
…A message I loved at a shop we popped into: “Leave for adventure. Come home for love.”
.
…Seeing my first sunrise over the ocean. Magical.
.
…Walking on white sandy beaches and collecting shells. And the feeling of sun and saltwater on my skin.
.
…Long, full days spent with people I love. Getting to see more of the state of Florida. Going on adventures and making memories.
.
…Getting front row seats at the mermaid show.
.
…Delicious dinners enjoyed outside.
.
…Bracken picking a lemon in his grandma’s backyard. (And cutting some chives to put on our breakfast.)
.
…The thunderstorms we got to listen to one night. I love that sound.
.
…Dreaming about coconuts in trees and picking green ones to drink.
.
…Jeff having a meal ready and waiting for us in the car after we returned from a full day of travel yesterday. (The reason this post is a day late. We’re back home from Florida. What a special trip we had!)
