{ G r a t i t u d e * S u n d a y :: Sunday’s heartfelt tradition.
A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.}

Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…Stopping to watch a bee go from fuchsia to fuchsia. And family time in the garden. One of my very favorite things.
.
…Peeking in at Jeff and Bracken listening to Sparkle Stories, side by side, as I got some things done in the kitchen. Jeff got work done while he was listening and Bracken had a snack (and Bracken isn’t the only one around here who loves those stories!)
.
…Having a day when we were on the flow and the timing worked out just right, and spontaneous plans aligned.
.
…Having the exact cash to pay for my groceries. Exact, down to the dollar. (Of course I could have paid for it out of our bank account, but I have this thing where I really love when the amount of money I need is exactly how much I have in hand.)
.
…A friend sharing kale and lettuce with us from her garden.
.
…Organizing a bunch of our stuff for market. That always feels good.
.
…Jeff dropping all our recycling off while Bracken and I were at speech therapy.
.
…Weeding around the fig and the currants and then spreading compost around them. They were much happier afterwards.
.
…Ignoring all that needed doing around me for a period of time to just sit next to Bracken on the couch and read books together.
.
…Jeff making cod for dinner while Bracken and I harvested arugula, chives, and cilantro in the garden for our salad.
.
…All the good smelling things blooming on the front porch right now. Jasmine, geranium, and those lemon blossoms all smell so divine.
.
…Jeff and Bracken bringing all the laundry in off the line for me before it rained, while I was busy packaging up orders. (And Jeff printing out a label for me for an order I needed to mail out when it wasn’t working from my computer.)
.
…The sound of the rain on the roof at night. And seeing the garden get good and soaked.
