{ G r a t i t u d e * S u n d a y :: Sunday’s heartfelt tradition.
A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.}

Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…Seeing so many grapes on the way! Looks like a good year for grapes in our garden, now if we can just beat the bear to them this year…
.
…Spending most of last Sunday outside in the garden, and hardly spending any time in the house, which we all needed. It was such a productive day out there planting, mulching, watering, weeding, and cleaning up. There’s still plenty more catching up to do, but the progress felt good.
.
…Jeff already having a bunch of lettuce harvested when I said “We need to harvest some lettuce today.”
.
…Being able to cross two vegetables off my grocery list when our friends shared some of their garden bounty with us that day.
.
…Open windows and fresh air in the house. It’s one of my favorite feelings about summertime.
.
…How hard Jeff works for our family. I know I’ve probably listed this one many times before, but I’m grateful for all he does in a day to support us.
.
…The way hanging the laundry to dry on the line is another excuse to go outside. (And feeding the chickens and gathering eggs, and harvesting some ingredients in the garden for our next meal.) I love any excuse to go outside more.
.
…Catching up with my sister. I love when the stars magically align in our busy schedules and we can have a good, long talk.
.
…Cozy nights on the couch with my family, knitting while we watch a show.
.
…Not getting a parking ticket when I completely forgot to put money in the meter! I breathed a huge sigh of relief.
.
…My friend sharing yarn, knitting books, and fabric with me when she was downsizing. Bless her heart, it felt like Christmas!
