{G r a t i t u d e * S u n d a y :: Sunday’s heartfelt tradition. A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitude.}

Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…Watching the hummingbirds visit the fuchsia flowers. They bring us so much joy every time we see them in the garden. (I didn’t get a picture of any of the hummingbirds, but I did get some of the beautiful fuchsias blooming right now.)
.
…Seeing the beauty and blessings right in front of me more when I take a deep breath and slow down for a few moments.
.
…People showing up with words of encouragement when you need them most. This week my sister called me at just the right time and told me exactly what I needed to hear, and I appreciated her so much.
.
…Trying a new fermented drink with pineapple called Tepache. I love trying new foods and drinks, and especially new ferments.
.
…Jeff and Bracken seeing a bald eagle fly over when they were in the garden.
.
…Getting back into the habit of rubbing magnesium oil on the bottom of our feet before bed. I love giving my body that good dose of magnesium and I also love the deeper, more restful sleep it brings.
.
…Little bits of de-cluttering that help so much.
.
…Thoughtful friends. One gave Bracken flower seeds for a bee garden and bee stickers, and another gave him paper for all his artwork.
.
…Spontaneous conversations with strangers. I love those.
.
…Listening to the birds singing at twilight while I wrote my gratitude list for the day.
