{G r a t i t u d e * S u n d a y :: Sunday’s heartfelt tradition. A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitude.}

Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…The beautiful wildflowers we saw throughout our drive in Idaho and Wyoming. The bright yellow ones were my very favorite and looked like wild sunflowers to me. (I’m guessing that’s what they are.)
.
…Lighting candles at mealtimes. It makes each meal feel more special, and helps us slow down more while we eat. I would like that to be something we do more often.
.
…Jeff’s ability to turn leftovers into a delicious meal. It’s a gift of his really, to take leftovers we weren’t all that excited about (sometimes we’re excited about leftovers, but other times not so much) and transforming them into something new, fresh, and appetizing.
.
…The satisfaction of making things with my hands.
.
…Beginning the day by drinking fresh lemon water. We all love doing that around here and my body sure appreciates it when I do.
.
…Breaks from the car to stretch and that wonderful feeling of our feet on the earth again.
.
…Seeing sights I’d never seen before, and admiring new mountains, rivers, high deserts, and plants. I love the adventure of exploring new places.
.
…An incredible road trip we will always remember and time with family that was precious to us. I’m deeply grateful that everything came together and we were able to make it happen.
.
…Buying a vase of sunflowers, something I so rarely do, and enjoying their beauty as they brightened up our living room.
.
…The wonderful feeling of sleeping in your own bed after you’ve been away from it for awhile.
