We’re in Iowa! We got up at 2:30 yesterday morning to head to the airport and two plane rides later (which felt like a breeze compared to the three flights we take when we go to Florida), we were in Iowa. This morning it was such a treat to wake up in my grandma’s house. It’s sunny, cold, and just beautiful here right now. I’m so grateful to not only be celebrating Thanksgiving with family at my grandma’s house this year, but also to be celebrating my sister’s 30th birthday. I get asked about Jeff traveling with us, but you won’t find him on a plane (he would be much too claustrophobic for that), he joins our travels when we are driving instead. I felt bad leaving him at home for Thanksgiving this year, but even though he misses us he is really enjoying having a little quiet time to himself. We’re savoring our time here, I wanted to let you know where we are while this space is quiet here this week. Wishing you all a wonderful week!

P.S. I added little notes at the bottom of my previous two posts.
P.P.S. I’m extending the Sparkle Stories giveaway in case any of you were wanting to enter to win a three month subscription, but thought you had missed your chance. It’s been such a wonderful resource for us, and I appreciate having stories I don’t have screen before having Bracken listen to them. If you already know about Sparkle Stories and love them, you could win three free months of their beloved stories, and if you haven’t checked them out yet, it’s a great opportunity to do so. (And don’t forget about their extended free trial for WoolyMossRoots readers! Info at the bottom of the giveaway post.)
