The weather has been going back and forth between cold and rainy, and hot and sunny. We just had several days of rain and everything is looking quite green and lush. The garden is growing like crazy. Jeff stays busy keeping the garden watered on the hot days, and then the rainy days feel like a mini vacation of sorts with the entire garden being watered for us.
So many daisies are blooming right now. They make me smile every time I see them. These were the daisies we collected that had fallen over in some of the heavy rains we had. Usually our vases of flowers will have a daisy tucked in here and there, but a whole vase of daisies is quite a joyful sight, isn’t it?

I just wanted to say that I’m not sure when you updated your blog bio, but I just love it (and that photo of you!). I’ve learned a lot from your content through the years, but I confess the biggest learning is exactly what this post captures: finding small moments, finding beauty in what others see as a hindrance, finding connection, finding brightness.
I appreciate all you make with your hands, but you’ve made something important with your words, too. Thank you.

Hi Elizabeth,
I can’t thank you enough for what you wrote. The timing was amazing and just the affirmation I needed. I will send you an e-mail soon explaining a bit more why your message was so timely and exactly what I needed to hear. I was taking some steps in a direction and you helped me find just what I was looking for. Thank you so much!
