…The last rain soaked (and drooping) calendulas still hanging on in the garden.
…How much entertainment a cardboard box can provide.
…Listening to Sparkle Stories on a rainy morning and watching Bracken completely captivated by the stories. (We tried them before when he was younger, but at that time he didn’t want to stay in one spot long enough to listen to a story, it’s wonderful to see how much he loves them now.)
…Jeff fixing my camera when it stopped working and said my SD card was full when it wasn’t. (Thank goodness for the internet and being able to research things so easily!)
…Some fresh watercress- from a local farm and then from our backyard- when I had a sudden craving for it.
…Remembering to finally bring our little lemon tree in the house. With the cold, it’s much happier there.
…Bracken’s new saying: “oh my!” The way he says it is so funny. It’s another favorite of mine, along with “oh bother.”
…Dance breaks with Bracken in between chores. Even when I feel I don’t have time to do so, he always convinces me that I do and he’s absolutely right.
…Ginger, ginger, ginger. Mmm.
…My dad’s visit. We had such a good time.
…The handmade gift that Jeff made for our little friend’s fourth birthday.
…Warm fire, pajamas, and a mug of tea on a cold night.
…The bald eagle that flew alongside our car on our drive yesterday.
