I’ve never regretted following my intuition. Not once. Not even when it was really hard, or I had no support, or I felt completely alone. I have, however, regretted ignoring my intuition- quite a few times in my life. I’ve found that the pain of loneliness or being misunderstood is nothing compared to the pain of betraying myself and going against the voice of my own soul. I have learned that there is a peace inside when we live in integrity with our souls and it is absolutely sacred and priceless.

It’s actually quite freeing to follow your intuitions. Mine usually has to do with my fear of flying and feeling the pressure of others to go against my intuition to not! It’s always comforting to know that I’ve made the right choice for me.

A painful lesson for me was learning just that. I’d say that betraying yourself or going against the voice of your own soul is akin to poisoning yourself. It starts with the mind but will eventually take its toll on your body. May we all have the freedom and strength to follow that intuition. 🙂
