…The little bottle my mom left behind from her creamer that made the perfect vase for our rosemary (which made the living room smell so good.)

…The idea to start putting rosemary in a vase, which will be wonderful throughout the winter when we don’t have fresh flowers in the yard to bring inside.

…Thoughtful gifts and people who care about Bracken, showering him with love for his birthday.

…Looking at the pictures from my mom’s summer trip and listening to the stories.

…Bracken finding the missing puzzle piece (missing for months) under the couch.

…A wonderful dream about riding a horse on a warm summer day in the dry mountains. I wanted to keep dreaming it.

…Bracken’s friend calling him his brother. It was so sweet.

…Seeing two fauns on our drive to town that were busily eating apples underneath our neighbor’s apple tree.

…Secondhand treasures and having my mom there to share in my excitement. Comfy new shoes. A cashmere cardigan!

…Getting my hair cut on Bracken’s birthday. I needed a transformation and with about eight inches cut off it feels so much lighter.

…Taking some pesto out of the freezer to start enjoying on our meals. (If only I would have remembered to take some out while my mom was here.)

…Knitting with a friend while Bracken put on shows for us.

…The chickens and ducks appreciating all the things we’ve been pulling up in the garden.

…My intuition guiding me to the missing child at the farmer’s market yesterday and being able to reunite him with his mom.
