I finished knitting the hood on Bracken’s sweater. Now the pattern calls for a three needle bind off, which I have never done before, so I will be learning something new.

Yesterday I went to a knitting shop in town to check and see if they got the new issue of Knit.Purl. magazine in yet. To my delight, they had just got it in that very day. I couldn’t even wait until I was out of the store before I had a peek inside. I was so excited because there are some pictures of our buttons in there!! They didn’t mention us, but just seeing our buttons in the magazine is really exciting for us. Beatrice has created another gorgeous knitting pattern using our buttons. You can see her beautiful Lupinus Cardigan in Knit.Purl. magazine and on Ravelry. I absolutely love the color combination: that yarn with those black walnut wood buttons. Also, Beatrice interviewed me on her blog, about our buttons. In one of her questions she asked me how I get it all done and honestly, I wanted to ask her the same question! With two little ones (one being a newborn) she still manages to create one gorgeous knitting pattern after another, she’s an inspiration.
