I finished knitting my Hermione Hat.Β I love this hat! It’s a knit that I’m pretty proud of because it moved me out of my knitting comfort zone and I learned new skills. (Oh, and I’m wearing my favorite tree pendant in the first picture.)

I have something really hilarious to tell you. We went out in the rain today and I had Jeff quickly snap a few pictures of my finished hat. Just last night I finished weaving in the ends. I tried on the hat and it was so cozy and comfy. I was delighted. Now as I went to write this and I looked at the pictures…. I noticed something looked funny. Why did the pattern look so strange on my hat? And then I realized that in my excitement last night, I was so ready to put on my new hat that after I’d woven in the ends, I forgot to turn it right side out again. I put on my hat inside out and didn’t even notice until I saw these pictures up close!! I am totally cracking up right now!!
Okay, so there’s my inside-out YarnAlong post for today. I’ll clearly need to have a picture re-do to show you the hat properly, it’s such a lovely pattern it just wouldn’t do it justice to only show the inside. Although that side is pretty too! (Oh my gosh, I just can’t get over how funny it is!)

The hat is so pretty! You know, knitters do like to show the backside of their work to show how accomplished they are. And you certainly are as we couldn’t even tell that was the wrong side until you told us. FYI – can’t tell you how many times I’ll look down and realize I have my turtleneck on backwards or some other crazy thing.

That’s so funny. Got an email from hubby yesterday:
“It wasn’t until I sat down at my desk that I noticed I’m wearing my indoor slippers.”
