Well, our booth is set up at the Mother Earth News Fair, so it’s official. We even have our badges. (Jeff joked that we should frame them and hang them on the wall.) While Jeff and I set up our booth, Bracken was entertained by transforming himself into “bag boy!” It was hot out there today and as we wrap up the final details at home this evening, Jeff put one thing at the very top of the list: ice, and lots of it.
I wanted to mention that both of our online shops will be closed for the weekend. We will re-open them early next week. Also, I’ve decided to skip Gratitude Sunday for this weekend and will start up again the following Sunday. If you’d still like to participate this weekend, you are welcome to leave your links under the comments in this post instead.
You might have also noticed that there was no {this moment} on the blog today. I had been thinking for quite some time about no longer doing that on the blog each week, but then I’d do another one and before I made up my mind, it would be another week again. I joined Amanda, on her blog SouleMama, in that tradition for many years. Last week she decided to stop hosting it and it was a great time for me to let it go as well. It was fun and I’m so glad I did it (what fun to look back at them from over the years!), and now I’m glad to move on to something new.
I’ll be back in this space early next week. And as I already promised one reader, I’ll take plenty of pictures to share with you. Have a great weekend everybody!
P.S. Just to remind those of you attending: we’ll be in booth 1203, located outside. And now to finish packing!

Beautiful gratitudes! Thank you for sharing. Kindness from strangers is always such a gift.
P.S. I replying here because I’ve had a hard time leaving comments on blogspot lately, so this is much easier for the time being. 🙂

Have a great time- I considered driving up from Ashland for the fair but it’s such a perfect weekend here to finish putting in my garden and go for a long hike in the Upper Rogue. Can’t wait to see the pictures!
