{Sunday’s heartfelt tradition. A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.}
(If you would like to join us, see below. Our gratefulness feeds one another.)

Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…The smell of honeysuckle.
.
…Bringing the ducks into the garden for the day. (We’d invite the whole crew, but the chickens would eat everything.)
.
…How good it feels to be all caught up on washing the dishes, even if it’s fleeting.
.
…An out of the blue surprise in the mail from a friend.
.
…Jeff making major progress organizing our woodshed to get it ready for the winter.
.
…My camera not actually being broken when it stopped working. Phew! (Even though I’d just charged my battery and it said it was full, it was no longer working. So glad it was as simple as changing the battery.)
.
…The very creative costumes Bracken comes up with each and every day.
.
…Jeff already having the laundry washed at the laundromat and the grocery store trip finished by the time he picked Bracken and I up at speech.
.
…Watching Bracken collect seeds around the yard and then sprinkle them throughout the garden.
.
…Work for the business that I can do outside (taking pictures for our online shop) so that Bracken can be outdoors playing longer.
.
…Bracken helping me hang the laundry to dry.
.
…How quiet and peaceful it was when the electricity was out for the night.
.
…The fact that we had our backyard campfire right before the weather got too hot and campfires were banned around here.
.
…Setting aside the distractions and just being present with my family.
.
…Jeff being so prepared for the heat at market yesterday, and packing things that helped immensely in getting us through our day.
