{Sunday’s heartfelt tradition. A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.}

Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…Bracken creating all of our thank you cards, so we could send out thank you’s for all the thoughtful Christmas gifts we received from family and friends. I adore his handmade cards and he was proud that he even cut them out by himself.
.
…Homemade salad dressing with fresh-squeezed lemon juice. Yum.
.
…How much our boy enjoys reading books together. Jeff and I do too.
.
…Typing out the phone numbers we had on the side of the fridge. It was badly in need of updating (some numbers were not current) and we always had a hard time finding anything in the jumble of our handwritten jots from many years. Much better now!
.
…Accomplishing little tasks that had been on my list for so long. (Like typing out those phone numbers!)
.
…All the wonderful things Bracken says, like announcing: “I think I wrote something!!” “What does it say?” “I don’t know. I can’t read it.”
.
…Continually finding new ways to add more coconut oil to our diet. Because I’m crazy about the stuff, as you know.
.
…Seeing a falcon flying. We don’t see them often, so were excited about that.
.
…A new year!
.
…Bracken falling asleep on Jeff’s shoulder while they were sitting side by side on the couch. Jeff didn’t want to move and I know that exact feeling, wanting to savor it as long as possible.
.
…Finally having our sauerkraut ready to eat! We’ve been all out and I’ve been starring at the jars fermenting on the counter and salivating every time I looked at them. (Forgive me, I know quite a few Gratitude Sundays have mentioned my joy over having our sauerkraut ready!)
.
…Family to take care of each other.
.
…(Sorry for the belated post today!)

A lovely list 🙂 Loving the Brackenism. One of my fave things is listening to my toddler and the things he comes out with 🙂

No, we didn’t, but if there’s some nearby that’s hopeful! 🙂

Wonderful list. One of the things I want to do is learn to make my own salad dressings.
