Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…The magnolias blooming in my grandma’s yard. They were breathtakingly beautiful.
.
…Birds singing in the morning. What a blessing that sound is to hear.
.
…Rainbows all over the room from crystals hanging in the windows. No matter how many times I experience that throughout my life, it will never lose it’s magic for me.
.
…Bracken starting to ask family on the phone “How your day going so far?” Melts my heart every time.
.
…Getting credit back at a store when they had overcharged us the previous time.
.
…Special time with family. Laughing and joking. Remembering. Being together.
.
…Sweet potato fries at my grandpa’s party. They’re a favorite of Bracken’s and he was so excited when he spotted those going into the oven.
.
…Treasured memories. And making new ones.
.
…The baby at the airport in the fuzzy pajamas who kept making us smile and laugh. Instead of moonwalking, she looked like she was mooncrawling as she slipped across the floor and it was so hilarious. She was enjoying herself so much that her joy was contagious.
.
…Running into friends in town. We often seem to be on the same wavelength, frequenting the same places at the same time.
.
…All the thoughtful messages and gifts that family and friends sent to make Jeff feel loved and special on his birthday.
.
…Our neighbor bringing us some lawn chairs. (Thanks you guys!)
.
…A few days warm enough to open up the windows and let the fresh air blow through the house.
.
…Spontaneous, spur of the moment decisions that make for a great day.
.
…Trading our neighbors eggs for some frozen blueberries and berry plants. Oh, how I love trades!
.
…Being back at the market yesterday, and getting back into the swing of that season.
