{ G r a t i t u d e * S u n d a y :: Sunday’s heartfelt tradition.
A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.}

Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…All the orange columbines popping up along the front walkway, giving spots of color among the green.
.
…Winding up a skein of yarn and casting on a new knitting project. That always makes me so happy!
.
…Bracken helping me in the kitchen and doing so many things all by himself, then proudly showing Jeff what he had made.
.
…Soups on rainy nights.
.
…Getting caught up on posting everything in the shop I had photographed. (Time for another photo shoot!)
.
…Arriving somewhere on time even though I had left the house later than I’d wanted.
.
…How much I love listening to music during our car rides. And then having the songs stuck in my head for days. (When it’s a song I like, I don’t mind having it stuck in my head.)
.
…Transplanting the chives and arugula so we can use that raised bed for our new strawberry bed this year. And how happy we all are when we get garden time together.
.
…Making salmon salad for dinner, on a bed of arugula from the garden.
.
…Heart to hearts with my sister on the phone.
.
…Beginning new routines that make everyone happy.
.
…Baking two batches of muffins on Friday evening after I had been wanting to bake some for weeks, but couldn’t seem to find the time.
.
…The sweet little bird’s nest our friend gave to Bracken.
.
…Eating pickled garlic scapes at our friend’s house. (They were so delicious!) And feeling energized spending time with mama friends.
.
…Jeff and Bracken surprising me yesterday and coming back from running an errand, while I watched our market booth, with a new haircut for Bracken. The place was right next door to the wood store and Bracken’s hair was starting to get in his eyes, a haircut was overdue. They were so pleased to surprise me.
