Today’s giveaway is brought to you by WoolyMossRoots sponsor- Grunge Garden.
Grunge Garden was one of my earliest sponsors on this blog, (previously known by the name Twysted Thystle.) I’ll always be grateful to Deb for supporting my blog from the beginning when I was first starting to offer sponsorship in this space. I still remember e-mailing back and forth with her years ago, answering what I could about Oregon, when her family decided to move from Colorado and plant roots in Oregon. Now she’s a fellow Oregonian! It’s fun for me to see the new offerings she has in her shop these days as she continues to expand her wonderful products. Deb has so much experience in doing what she does and it shows in everything she makes. I just put in my order with her for some aromatherapy inhalers, and can’t wait to use them! (By the way, I just mentioned smelling peppermint oil in my Natural Headache Relief post this week, and then saw that she has a Headache Relief Aromatherapy Inhaler!)
You can stay in touch with Grunge Garden through Instagram and Facebook. And most importantly, you can sign up for their newsletter on their website!
Welcome back to sponsorship on WoolyMossRoots, Deb! I know there have been a lot of changes with your business since the last time you were featured here, tell us what’s new.
Deb: I am so happy to be back! Thank you for the opportunity to share what I do with your readers. I have pretty much changed everything from the ground up. I changed the business name to Grunge Garden to better reflect who I am at my core. Gardening is pretty much my life. (Well, besides being a wife of 20+ years and mom of 6!)
One of the biggest changes is the look of my products. I have a new logo, which I am completely in love with! It has some seriously deep roots for me, which is important on so many levels. Every time I look at it, it makes me smile. I also switched to eco-friendly packaging and labeling on all of our products. The natural 100% post-consumer recycled labels have drastically changed the look, feel, and direction of my products.
Another change is that most of the new products have a purpose. They are specifically formulated for issues that are easily managed with simple and natural herbal remedies + traditional aromatherapy principles. From simple bumps and bruises to totally natural relief from anxiety, we probably have you covered.
I spend the majority of my time during the growing months on planting and harvesting herbs and flowers for Grunge Garden products, gardening for my family, and running a community project that I started last year. It is called the McMinnville Urban Gardening + Homesteading Community. The project focuses on sharing all things food and gardening related with members of my amazing community. We share extra seeds, plants, trees, herb and veggie starts, kombucha scoby’s, water kefir grains, sourdough starter, homemade breads, fruits and veggies, eggs, and pretty much anything else pertaining to gardening and urban farming. The best part is that it is all FREE. We are each supporting one another through our own little urban food community. It is pretty awesome.
For today’s giveaway, Grunge Garden is offering 1 Peppermint Foot Balm, 1 Calendula Skin Soothing Salve, 1 Repair Herbal First Aid Balm, and 1 Lip Balm. ($49 value.)
