I know this isn’t the prettiest image to share with you (the backside of our car all loaded up for market), but to me this is a beautiful sight to behold! And it’s the reason why I love Fridays. (Movie night is another reason.) Every Friday as we pack up the car for market, all of our display pieces and our stock gets carried out of our house and into our car. And for a brief period of time I feel like we get part of our house back! I practically do a happy dance each time. One of the things about working from home is that the stuff for our business is everywhere and can feel like it’s taking over our house sometimes. On Fridays I breathe a sigh of relief in reclaiming our space a bit more.

I’ve written before about how we fit it all in the back of our little Subaru. We’ve managed to make it work for quite some time, but we’re getting tired of trying to squeeze everything in and being so cramped in there. Not to mention the unloading and loading of our market stuff each week. If I want to get any groceries during the week (which I do) or anything else from town, all the market stuff must be unloaded and then re-loaded for the next weekend. We’re dreaming about a truck these days (anyone have a Toyota Tacoma for sale?), but in the meantime I’ll keep appreciating my Fridays!
