{ G r a t i t u d e * S u n d a y :: Sunday’s heartfelt tradition.
A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.}

Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…The scent of honeysuckles, unlike any other. The honeysuckles are so fleeting and I do my best to enjoy them fully before they fade away.
.
…Sheets hanging on the line, out in the sunshine.
.
…Jeff making such an incredible dinner out of leftovers and a few garden ingredients. I had gone all over the kitchen & pantry, wondering what in the world to make and not having any inspiration, when he came and saved dinner that night.
.
…Watching a beautiful woodpecker in a tree in town and being so happy we got to see it.
.
…My mom making me laugh on the phone when I needed to freshen up my perspective that day. Laughing helped me to do just that.
.
…The surprise of a store still being open in town when we had an errand to run, but thought we had gotten there too late.
.
…Jeff and I getting the heavy new toilet up the narrow stairs without injuring ourselves. I told my mom that “death by toilet” was definitely not the way I wanted to go.
.
…All of us hiding under the fuchsia bush for a few minutes when the rain started pouring down on us so hard in the garden, and pretending it was Bracken’s fort.
.
…Bit by bit, getting every bed in our garden planted and all the starts in the ground.
.
…Generous friends who share extra vegetables from their garden.
.
…Listening to music I hadn’t heard in years and being flooded with memories.
.
…Connecting and talking with people I treasure in my life.
