{ G r a t i t u d e * S u n d a y :: Sunday’s heartfelt tradition.
A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.}

Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…The flowers that surprise us and pop up on their own in the garden.
.
…Mopping the kitchen floors (they were overdue for a good cleaning) and Bracken saying over and over how fun he thought it was, while he was mopping away by my side.
.
…Eating baked lamb and cabbage for dinner (yum) and then all of us going outside to work in the garden a little before bed.
.
…The extra cleaning that gets done when family comes to stay. It feels so good to get some of the deeper cleaning done and after all the scrubbing, sweeping, vacuuming, washing, and tidying, the house feels so much better.
.
…Covering my face in clay. I hadn’t done a clay mask in forever and it felt amazing. A nice treat to myself at the end of a long day. (I highly recommend it!)
.
…Going with the flow and letting go of plans when they just weren’t working that day.
.
…Each and every project that gets done around here and crossed off the list. It’s a good feeling, when you’ve been wanted to get something done for years, to finally get it crossed off that mental checklist.
.
…All the fun things we did while family was here visiting.
.
…Our friend that has a knack for finding just what you need at thrift stores and always finding the display pieces we want for our booth whenever I tell him what we’re looking for.
.
…My dad opening up his Father’s Day gift while I was on the phone, so it felt like we were together. Happy Father’s Day, Dad! I’m so grateful for you in my life. Happy Father’s Day, Jeff. Thank you for everything you do for our family. And wishing all you dads out there a Happy Father’s Day today!
