{ G r a t i t u d e * S u n d a y :: Sunday’s heartfelt tradition.
A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.}

Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…The handful of sweet peas that bloomed in the garden this year and how good they smell!
.
…All the bird watching that Bracken has been doing out the window with the binoculars our friend gave him.
.
…The spicy kimchi and sauerkraut my dad and stepmom brought for us when they came up to go blueberry picking. A farm near their house makes some amazing ferments and those spicy ones have been particular favorites.
.
…Dropping off two boxes at the thrift store. The more we simplify around here, the happier I am.
.
…How good the ocean feels. And the sun on our skin. And the sand in our toes.
.
…Trades at the farmer’s market. We’re always grateful for those!
.
…Having such a great chiropractor to go to whenever Jeff needs to.
.
…Brand new kitchen scissors. (Our other ones were so dull that I gave myself blisters using them recently, they were definitely in need of replacing.)
.
…Giving the car a good cleaning and vacuuming. Much better!
.
…Some very productive home days. It felt so good to get so much done around the house when there was so much I needed to catch up on.
.
…How well we all slept last night after we came home exhausted from a long market day yesterday.

Hey taryn, I have a little tip for you. If you have some fine to medium sand paper just cut it a few times with your scissors and it sharpens them..I don’t know if it will work on yours but it always works on mine!

Thanks for the tip Sarah! My old scissors were pretty cheap and not very good quality, but I’m excited about my new ones, they are high quality and very well made. They’re making all the difference with my kitchen projects. 🙂
